Parc régional Corridor aérobique

Arrived in 1897

The train arrived in Arundel in 1897 and naturally facilitated the development of this small village, which has a mixed English and French background. The rail service closed on May 27, 1962, ending 66 years of railway history in Arundel.

Aerobic Corridor

We invite you to read the information panel outside the present station and perhaps you can think about returning with your bike sometime, and discovering this magnificent trail!

Here you are on part of an old line of the Canadian National Railroad. Today it has been turned into a recreational space and an historical tour you can do by bike was inaugurated in 2013.

Anglican church

A small detour via Chemin Church and then Chemin Thomson will take you to the Grace church, also known as the Anglican church, a magnificent building dating from 1878 .  You will also see several historic homes, some magnificent farmland and there are breathtaking views at the top of the road.

Typical local architecture

Houses of a typically New England style remain to bear testimony to the Anglo-Saxon influence in this municipality. There are still a number of them in Arundel and the surrounding area.
