Neotraditional-style house
François Bertrand, alias Pierre Cayen, but known as Bertrand, purchased the land in 1893. His father-in-law, Victor Bergeron (1898-1930), built the house for the family of his grandson, Albert Bertrand (1898-1966).
His son, Réal, took possession of the municipal aqueduct. At the time, water came in through cedar pipes from Lac des Bois-Francs.
In 1988, now owned by Rosaire Dubé, the house served as a restaurant called “Le vieux Saint-Adolphe”.
