This wooden church was built in 1934-1935. It features a simple rectangular design. Its projecting portico has a semicircular doorway. The windows on the front facade are also semicircular and feature mullions and transoms, while the side facades have straight lintels.
Historical Significance
Its significance lies in its age and its representation of a society tolerant of different faiths. This church is still open for worship and is the oldest in the region to have retained its original denomination. Its small size and simplicity are undoubtedly contributing factors to its continued use, as the costs of its upkeep and maintenance are much lower than for a cathedral, for example.
