Notice the numerous semicircular openings that elegantly pierce the façade. The bell towers on the roof ridge and the two towers embellish a rather simple facade. Each dome is topped with a Ukrainian Catholic cross. The openings are framed by a brick moulding, adding a decorative touch. The composition of the main façade gives a certain vibrancy, despite its rather simple proportions.
Historical Significance
Built thanks to a donation of several lots from the city of Rouyn to the Ukrainian mission, the church was completed in 1957. It stands as a testament to the presence of the Ukrainian population in Rouyn. Christ the King Church is a beautiful religious building, which, along with the nearby Russian Orthodox church, testifies to the presence of ethnic groups in the history of the twin cities.

Brand new and beautiful, the church receives its final touch: its bell! Notice how it still retains all its original features to this day, including its inscription in Ukrainian and French. A true gem of Rouyn-Noranda's history!
