The Courthouse

The Courthouse

Located next to the parish institutional entity, whose orientation towards the Chaudière River was dictated by it, the Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce's courthouse deserves particular attention for its architectural qualities, the major role it played in the social-economic development and landscaping of the village in the second half of the 19th century, and as a testimony of the Canadian legal history.
