Mont Sainte-Anne

The Development of Winter Sports

Natural heritage at the Mont Sainte-Anne

The summit of the Mont Sainte-Anne offers one of the most breathtaking views in all Côte-de-Beaupré, including the Laurentian mountain range, to which this 803-metre mountain belongs.

Resort-style architecture

The mix and match of constructions at the base of the Mont Sainte-Anne reflects the station’s stages of development. The technical infrastructure of the 1960s ski station was complemented in the mid-1980s with buildings that housed stores and accommodations. The station’s expansion has spurred on the construction of many motels, inns and B&Bs, as well as housing units for vacationing and year-round living. Today, the area’s resort sectors are gradually shifting to permanent housing.
